R. J. is a SaaS entrepreneur with technology roots dating back to early ExactTarget, where he joined the company as employee number 50 and stayed through IPO and eventual acquisition by Salesforce. R. J. later founded Pattern89, and AI ad optimization platform which was acquired by Shutterstock in 2021. R. J. also has a masters degree in creative writing from Purdue University. R. J. is now Founder & CEO of Backstroke, a generative content platform for email marketers.
