Hands-On Innovative Email Coding – 1/2 Day

In this hands-on workshop, three expert coders will teach you the ins and out of modern email coding. During the workshop attendees will code their own template that supports responsive design. To save time, we will start with some basic code for a simple template where attendees can add the CSS to modify it into a responsive template. Using the base template, we’ll show you provide tips, tricks and coding examples for responsive emails. Then add code to support dark mode to emails. Once we have a working template, we’ll get into how to use CSS for some advanced techniques such as kinetic email using CSS and finally AMP.  On AMP we’ll cover what email clients, ESPs, and Tools currently support it and how to get started with a basic email. By the end of the workshop attendees will have built their own email template that will render correctly across email clients and systems including at least one or more advanced tactics.
